Who can apply to join the War Ravens MC?
Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid motorcycle endorsement and insurance, and align with our Code and values. We evaluate based on conduct, safety, and commitment to the brotherhood.

What is the prospect path?
Advancement typically follows three stages: Raven’s Shadow → Iron Wing → Storm Raven, culminating in Full Patch after evaluations, service, and a vote of The Thing.
Where are you located?
We are currently located in Billings, Montana
Are there dues?
Dues, currently at $50/year for full-patch members and $80 for Prospect period, are set by The Thing and used solely for operations, insurance, and events. Support Members are non-voting and are exempt from dues. All dues are non-refundable in event of termination of membership or release from Prospect path.
Can I be a Support Member without riding?
Yes. Support Members stand with the Club at events and in service. They are non-voting and exempt from dues and admission requirements.
Can guests ride with the War Ravens?
Yes—on designated open rides. Guests must sign our Guest Rider & Liability Waiver and follow the Pathfinder’s safety brief and formation rules.
What safety standards do you follow?
We conduct pre-ride briefings, assign lead and sweep, and require DOT-compliant helmets (if required by local laws) and road-law compliance. Our Shieldwarden oversees safety and incident reporting.
What happens if someone rides unsafely?
Unsafe behavior may result in warnings, removal from the ride, or disciplinary review under our Conflict Resolution Policy. Safety is brotherhood in action—everyone gets home.
Are you a nonprofit?
Yes. We operate as a nonprofit social club under IRC §501(c)(7). Funds are used for Club operations, safety, and service—no officer or member may personally profit.
Are you a 1% club?
No. The War Ravens Motorcycle Club is not a 1% club and has no connection to outlaw or criminal motorcycle organizations. We are a lawful, nonprofit social club founded on Norse heritage, disciplined riding, community service, and brotherhood.
We stand for honor, safety, integrity, and service—upholding the Nine Virtues of the Raven through responsible riding, charitable activity, and strong personal conduct.
How are decisions made?
The Thing (our council) votes on major matters. Officers include the Jarl, Hersir, Shieldwarden, Skald, Coinkeeper, and Pathfinder, each with defined duties.
Do you allow new chapters?
Yes—through a Chapter Charter Agreement with National approval. Chapters must follow our By-Laws, Code, and standards for insignia and safety.
Can I use the War Ravens name or patch online?
Use of the name, patch, or imagery must follow our Social Media & Communication Policy. Official statements come from the Jarl, Hersir, or Skald.
